Exercise Rehabilitation

It is well established that regular exercise contributes greatly to one’s health and well-being. Most branches of healthcare advocate exercise for its preventative effects in combating such afflictions as heart disease, obesity, diabetes, etc. Some branches of healthcare (most notably, physical therapy) also prescribe exercise for its rehabilitative potential. Our staff uses rehabilitative exercise as yet another tool in the treatment of the symptoms and causes of musculoskeletal pain. Rehabilitative exercise is intended to strengthen muscle tissue and promote its growth, and improve the pliability (flexibility) of connective tissue. Exercise is of particular importance in cases where a patient’s mobility, locomotion, and/or range of motion is suffering from a connective tissue disorder or the pain caused by that disorder.
